Research cycle phases
Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (2 mL BAC → 5.00 mg/mL · 50.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.
Standard course
Most community discussion for 5-Amino-1MQ is oral (~50–150 mg/day in secondary tables). Injectable research-vial write-ups often use much lower multi-mg amounts (commonly ~2.5–5 mg/day). Preclinical animal work used mg/kg parenteral doses that do not translate 1:1 to human wellness charts. Oral capsules in the catalog do not use this BAC recon flow.

~175 mg mg total peptide over this 42-day course at 2.5 mg → 5 mg per injection (phase ladder). Each vial holds 10 mg.
Bacteriostatic water
12 × 3 mL or 4 × 10 mL
2 mL BAC per vial × 18 vials = 36.0 mL total. Buy as 12× 3 mL bottles or 4× 10 mL bottles (whichever you stock).
U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)
42+ syringes
About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.
Alcohol swabs & sharps
~120 swabs · 1 sharps container
Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.
Reconstitution steps
- Allow the lyophilized 10 mg 5-Amino-1MQ vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
- Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
- Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
- Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
- Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "5.0 mg/mL — 2 mL BAC").
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.
Storage
Lyophilized
Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).
Reconstituted
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.
- ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
- ·Protect from light during storage.
- ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.
Protocol notes
- ·NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) inhibitor researched for metabolic/body-composition models.
- ·Not a peptide — small molecule often sold alongside research peptides.
- ·Oral 50 mg capsules are pre-dosed — no reconstitution.
- ·Research use only.
Research context & considerations
5-Amino-1MQ inhibits NNMT and has preclinical interest for metabolic phenotype. There is no FDA-approved 5-Amino-1MQ drug product for fat loss; research materials are educational only.
- ·Human long-term safety package is limited.
- ·Do not equate oral capsule mg to injectable mg 1:1.
- ·Not FDA-approved.
- ·Pregnancy out of scope.
