Step 1
Reconstitution
Peptide amount in the vial and how much bacteriostatic water you add.
Step 2
Your dose
This guide uses microgram-scale research doses — quick picks are in mcg (100 mcg = 0.1 mg).
Quick select (mcg) — switch units or type any value
Suggested: 30-unit barrel (smallest that fits this draw).

Research cycle phases
Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (1 mL BAC → 1.00 mg/mL · 10.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.
Standard course
Secondary educational tables for research vials commonly discuss ~50–200 mcg (sometimes up to ~250 mcg) per day for ~10–30 days, then time off. Primate/gene-therapy follistatin data are not the same as catalog lyophilized “FST-344” quality or dosing.
| Phase | Daily dose | Units | Volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Days 1–10 (intro) | 50 mcg0.05 mg | 5 u | 0.05 mL50 mcg daily — lower educational start / training-day style amounts |
| Days 11–30 (standard educational) | 100 mcg0.1 mg | 10 u | 0.10 mL100 mcg daily — common mid secondary range |
Alternate / higher courses
Shorter or higher daily courses discussed in research communities — not a clinical recommendation

Bacteriostatic water
1 × 3 mL bottle
1 mL BAC per vial × 3 vials = 3.0 mL total. Buy as 1× 3 mL bottle or 1× 10 mL bottle (whichever you stock).
U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)
30+ syringes
About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.
Alcohol swabs & sharps
~66 swabs · 1 sharps container
Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.
Reconstitution steps
- Allow the lyophilized 1 mg Follistatin 344 vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
- Draw 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
- Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
- Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
- Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "1.0 mg/mL — 1 mL BAC").
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.
Storage
Lyophilized
Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).
Reconstituted
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.
- ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
- ·Protect from light during storage.
- ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.
Protocol notes
- ·Follistatin-pathway products are high-risk: quality control of research vials is a major practical concern.
- ·Calculator: 0.1 mg = 100 mcg.
- ·Gene-therapy muscle studies are not a template for uncharacterized lyophilized research powders.
- ·Research use only.
Research context & considerations
Follistatin binds myostatin/activins and can drive dramatic muscle phenotypes in genetic models. Injectable FST-344 research products are controversial, often poorly characterized, and far from approved therapeutics.
- ·Extreme caution — not a beginner recovery peptide.
- ·Unknown purity, identity, and dosing accuracy of many market vials.
- ·Theoretical reproductive / organ effects from myostatin pathway disruption in models.
- ·Not FDA-approved. Pregnancy out of scope.
