Defaults match this guide (5 mg + 2 mL BAC). Change water or dose and the unit tables below update automatically.

Step 1

Reconstitution

Peptide amount in the vial and how much bacteriostatic water you add.

Research cycle phases

Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (2 mL BAC → 2.50 mg/mL · 25.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.

Standard course

Research-community and clinic educational tables most often cite ~250–500 mcg SC once daily (sometimes twice daily) for about 4–6 weeks, then time off. Oral capsules (when used) are often discussed in a similar mcg/day band but are not the same as reconstituted injectable math.

BPC-157 5 mg vials

4 vials

~19.25 mg mg total peptide over this 42-day course at 250 mcg → 500 mcg → 500 mcg per injection (phase ladder). Each vial holds 5 mg.

Bacteriostatic water

3 × 3 mL or 1 × 10 mL

2 mL BAC per vial × 4 vials = 8.0 mL total. Buy as 3× 3 mL bottles or 1× 10 mL bottle (whichever you stock).

U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)

42+ syringes

About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.

Alcohol swabs & sharps

~92 swabs · 1 sharps container

Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.

Reconstitution steps

  1. Allow the lyophilized 5 mg BPC-157 vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
  2. Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
  3. Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
  4. Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
  5. Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "2.5 mg/mL — 2 mL BAC").
  6. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.

Storage

Lyophilized

Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).

Reconstituted

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.

  • ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
  • ·Protect from light during storage.
  • ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.

Protocol notes

  • ·BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid gastric-derived research peptide studied in injury and GI models.
  • ·Calculator doses are milligrams: 0.25 mg = 250 mcg; 0.5 mg = 500 mcg.
  • ·VERIX also lists oral BPC-157 capsules (500 mcg) — those are pre-dosed and do not use this BAC recon flow.
  • ·Often stacked educationally with TB-500 (see BPC+TB blend guides) at independent or fixed-ratio schedules.
  • ·Research use only. Not medical advice.

Research context & considerations

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) has a large preclinical literature on soft-tissue repair, angiogenesis signaling, and GI mucosal models. Robust modern Phase 3 human dosing as an approved drug does not exist for research-market vials. This page is reconstitution and unit-math logistics only.

  • ·Injection-site irritation is the most common practical issue.
  • ·Theoretical angiogenesis / malignancy caution discussions appear in secondary literature for repair peptides.
  • ·Not FDA-approved. Not for human consumption as a drug substitute.
  • ·Pregnancy and pediatric use are outside research-hobby scope.
