Research cycle phases
Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (2 mL BAC → 25.00 mg/mL · 250.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.
Standard course
Injectable educational tables commonly discuss ~0.5–2 mg per day (sometimes up to ~3–4 mg), for multi-week skin/repair-style courses, or lower multi-times-weekly maintenance. Blue-green copper-peptide color can be normal after recon.

~46 mg mg total peptide over this 30-day course at 1 mg → 2 mg per injection (phase ladder). Each vial holds 50 mg.
Bacteriostatic water
1 × 3 mL bottle
2 mL BAC per vial × 1 vial = 2.0 mL total. Buy as 1× 3 mL bottle or 1× 10 mL bottle (whichever you stock).
U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)
30+ syringes
About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.
Alcohol swabs & sharps
~62 swabs · 1 sharps container
Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.
Reconstitution steps
- Allow the lyophilized 50 mg GHK-Cu vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
- Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
- Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
- Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
- Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "25.0 mg/mL — 2 mL BAC").
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.
Storage
Lyophilized
Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).
Reconstituted
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.
- ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
- ·Protect from light during storage.
- ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.
- ·Copper-peptide solutions may look blue-green — that can be normal; discard if cloudy or odd odor.
Protocol notes
- ·GHK-Cu is a copper-binding tripeptide studied in skin, repair, and gene-expression models.
- ·Injectable recon math is not the same as topical cosmetic serums.
- ·Research use only.
Research context & considerations
Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex appears widely in regenerative and cosmetic research. Systemic injectable research powders are not approved drugs; copper exposure matters at higher chronic amounts.
- ·Copper disorders (e.g. Wilson disease) — extra caution.
- ·Injection-site reactions possible.
- ·Not FDA-approved as a research-vial systemic drug.
- ·Pregnancy out of scope.
