Reconstitution steps

  1. Allow the lyophilized 1500 mg glutathione vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
  2. Draw 10.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
  3. Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
  4. Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
  5. Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "150.0 mg/mL — 10 mL BAC/sterile diluent per label practice").
  6. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.

Research context & considerations

Reduced glutathione is an endogenous antioxidant tripeptide. Parenteral use has been studied in various settings (including dermatology and neurology research contexts) with mixed evidence; research powders are not a substitute for medical care.
