IGF-1 LR3 1 mg

Educational recon guide for a 1 mg IGF-1 LR3 research vial and microgram daily unit mapping. Research use only — high-caution growth-factor product.

Step 1

Reconstitution

Peptide amount in the vial and how much bacteriostatic water you add.

Your dose

This guide uses microgram-scale research doses — quick picks are in mcg (100 mcg = 0.1 mg).

Research cycle phases

Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (1 mL BAC → 1.00 mg/mL · 10.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.

Standard course

Secondary educational tables commonly discuss ~20–50 mcg once daily for about 4–6 weeks, then time off. Higher amounts increase hypoglycemia and IGF-pathway risk discussions. Not a beginner recovery peptide.

Bacteriostatic water

1 × 3 mL bottle

1 mL BAC per vial × 2 vials = 2.0 mL total. Buy as 1× 3 mL bottle or 1× 10 mL bottle (whichever you stock).

U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)

42+ syringes

About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.

Alcohol swabs & sharps

~88 swabs · 1 sharps container

Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.

Reconstitution steps

  1. Allow the lyophilized 1 mg IGF-1 LR3 vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
  2. Draw 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default). Some researchers use acetic acid diluent protocols for IGF products — follow your validated lab method.
  3. Inject diluent slowly down the inner wall — avoid foaming.
  4. Gently swirl until clear. Do not shake hard.
  5. Label with recon date and concentration.
  6. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Prefer finishing within the short course window.

Storage

Lyophilized

Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).

Reconstituted

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.

  • ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
  • ·Protect from light during storage.
  • ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.

Protocol notes

  • ·IGF-1 LR3 is a long-acting IGF-1 analogue discussed in performance research communities.
  • ·Calculator: 0.02 mg = 20 mcg; 0.05 mg = 50 mcg.
  • ·Short courses with time off are the usual educational framing — not year-round daily use.
  • ·Research use only.

Research context & considerations

Long R3 IGF-1 is engineered for extended activity vs native IGF-1. It is not an approved bodybuilding or anti-aging drug; hypoglycemia and theoretical growth/malignancy pathway concerns are central risk themes.

  • ·Hypoglycemia / blood-sugar effects.
  • ·Theoretical promotion of cell growth — active malignancy is a high-caution context.
  • ·Injection-site and systemic side effects vary.
  • ·Not FDA-approved for research-vial consumer use.
  • ·Pregnancy out of scope.
