Your dose
This guide uses microgram-scale research doses — quick picks are in mcg (100 mcg = 0.1 mg).

Research cycle phases
Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (1 mL BAC → 5.00 mg/mL · 50.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.
Standard course
Approved chronic weight-management product (Saxenda) titrates 0.6 → 1.2 → 1.8 → 2.4 → 3.0 mg once daily in weekly steps if tolerated. Diabetes product (Victoza) commonly uses up to 1.8 mg daily. Research-market powder is not a branded pen and is not a substitute for prescribed therapy.

Liraglutide 5 mg vials
26 vials
~126 mg mg total peptide over this 56-day course at 600 mcg → 1.2 mg → 1.8 mg → 2.4 mg → 3 mg per injection (phase ladder). Each vial holds 5 mg.
Bacteriostatic water
9 × 3 mL or 3 × 10 mL
1 mL BAC per vial × 26 vials = 26.0 mL total. Buy as 9× 3 mL bottles or 3× 10 mL bottles (whichever you stock).
U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)
56+ syringes
About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.
Alcohol swabs & sharps

Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.
Reconstitution steps
- Allow the lyophilized 5 mg Liraglutide vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
- Draw 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
- Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
- Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
- Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "5.0 mg/mL — 1 mL BAC").
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.
Storage
Lyophilized
Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).
Reconstituted
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.
- ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
- ·Protect from light during storage.
- ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.
Protocol notes
- ·Daily GLP-1 agonist class — titrate slowly for GI tolerability.
- ·Research powders are not Victoza/Saxenda pens.
- ·Research use only.
Research context & considerations
Liraglutide is an acylated GLP-1 receptor agonist with FDA-approved branded products for T2D and chronic weight management. Catalog research vials are a separate unregulated channel.
- ·GI effects common during titration.
- ·GLP-1-class label cautions (e.g. MTC/MEN2 discussions on approved products) remain relevant framing.
- ·Not for pregnancy; not a substitute for prescribed care.
- ·Research vials are not FDA-approved consumer products.
