Semax 10 mg

Educational recon guide for a 10 mg Semax research vial and microgram unit mapping. Research use only.

Defaults match this guide (10 mg + 2 mL BAC). Change water or dose and the unit tables below update automatically.

Step 1

Reconstitution

Peptide amount in the vial and how much bacteriostatic water you add.

Your dose

This guide uses microgram-scale research doses — quick picks are in mcg (100 mcg = 0.1 mg).

Research cycle phases

Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (2 mL BAC → 5.00 mg/mL · 50.0 mcg/unit). Doses below are once daily during the course — not weekly.

Standard course

Russian clinical and research-community practice often uses roughly ~250–1000 mcg per administration, 1–3× daily intranasally (total daily sometimes ~0.5–3 mg depending on protocol). Secondary SC tables often cluster ~100–600 mcg per dose.

Semax 10 mg vials

1 vial

~1.2 mg mg total peptide over this 3-day course at 200 mcg → 400 mcg → 600 mcg per injection (phase ladder). Each vial holds 10 mg.

Bacteriostatic water

1 × 3 mL bottle

2 mL BAC per vial × 1 vial = 2.0 mL total. Buy as 1× 3 mL bottle or 1× 10 mL bottle (whichever you stock).

U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)

3+ syringes

About one 100-unit syringe per injection for this schedule. Keep a few spares.

Alcohol swabs & sharps

~8 swabs · 1 sharps container

Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.

Reconstitution steps

  1. Allow the lyophilized 10 mg Semax vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
  2. Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
  3. Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
  4. Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
  5. Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "5.0 mg/mL").
  6. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.

Storage

Lyophilized

Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).

Reconstituted

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.

  • ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
  • ·Protect from light during storage.
  • ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.

Protocol notes

  • ·ACTH(4-10) analog studied for cognition/neuroprotection.
  • ·Calculator: 0.4 mg = 400 mcg.
  • ·Research use only.

Research context & considerations

Semax has extensive regional clinical/research use for cognitive and cerebrovascular narratives. Research powders are not FDA-approved nootropics.

  • ·CNS-active peptide — start low.
  • ·Not FDA-approved as a research-vial product in this channel.
  • ·Pregnancy out of scope.
