TB-500 2 mg
Educational recon guide for a 2 mg TB-500 research vial and multi-mg loading/maintenance unit mapping. Research use only.

Suggested: 100-unit barrel (smallest that fits this draw).

200 units does not fit in a 100-unit syringe
You need 2 syringes of this size: 100 u + 100 u. Or switch to a larger barrel so the whole dose fits in one draw.

Do not load 200 units into a single 100-unit barrel. Split the dose across 2 syringes as shown above, inject at separate sites if needed, or use a larger syringe.
Weekly research phases
Units and volumes recompute from your Step 1 concentration (2 mL BAC → 1.00 mg/mL · 10.0 mcg/unit).
Standard titration
Secondary educational tables commonly load roughly ~2–5 mg per injection, 2× weekly for several weeks (≈4–10 mg/week), then reduce to lower weekly or less-frequent maintenance. Not an FDA-approved drug.

Supplies planner
Using the guide’s phase ladder (2 mg → 2.5 mg → 5 mg weekly (phase ladder)) over a 12-week schedule. Set a dose in Step 2 to plan supplies at your own amount.

12-week schedule
TB-500 2 mg vials
19 vials
~38 mg mg total peptide over this 12-week schedule at 2 mg → 2.5 mg → 5 mg weekly (phase ladder). Each vial holds 2 mg.
Bacteriostatic water
13 × 3 mL or 4 × 10 mL
2 mL BAC per vial × 19 vials = 38.0 mL total. Buy as 13× 3 mL bottles or 4× 10 mL bottles (whichever you stock).
U-100 insulin syringes (100-unit)
40+ syringes
Some doses need more than one 100-unit syringe at your concentration — plan extras and split draws when the math exceeds the barrel.
Alcohol swabs & sharps
~118 swabs · 1 sharps container
Wipe vial stopper and injection site each time. Dispose needles in a proper sharps container.
Reconstitution steps
- Allow the lyophilized 2 mg TB-500 vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature.
- Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water (default for this guide).
- Inject BAC slowly down the inner wall of the vial — avoid blasting the powder cake.
- Gently swirl or roll until the solution is clear. Do not shake hard (foaming).
- Label with recon date and concentration (e.g. "1.0 mg/mL").
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F), protected from light. Prefer using a reconstituted multi-dose vial within ~28 days with sterile technique.
Storage
Lyophilized
Keep dry powder cold and dark when possible (−20 °C / −4 °F preferred for long-term research stock).
Reconstituted
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F). Avoid freeze–thaw of the working solution. Prefer finishing within ~28 days.
- ·Write recon date and BAC volume on the label.
- ·Protect from light during storage.
- ·Discard if cloudy, particulates, or odd odor appear after reconstitution.
Protocol notes
- ·Often discussed with BPC-157 (see blend guides).
- ·Research use only.
Research context & considerations
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment related to thymosin β4 research on cell migration and tissue repair. Evidence is largely preclinical/anecdotal relative to approved medicines.
- ·Theoretical angiogenesis/cancer-growth caution discussions exist for the class.
- ·Not FDA-approved.
- ·Pregnancy out of scope.
