Overview

ACE-031 is an ActRIIB-Fc decoy receptor that sequesters myostatin (GDF-8) and related TGF-β superfamily ligands. Early trials showed lean-mass increases but development stopped due to bleeding and vascular adverse events. Research interest continues in myostatin pathway biology.
